When my boyfriend decided he wanted to go to Culinary School I knew we would have to move eventually! His school is a good hour from where we live now so we are packing up and moving to Austin. Moving from a small town to a big city we quickly realized that for what we are paying now, our new place is going to be MUCH smaller so Im trying to cut down on the amount of boxes I need to move! "Good Karma" - 3 Strand Buddha Bracelet

This past weekend I had a much needed break from everything! Luckily (yep I was happy about this....) my internet went out last Friday! I didnt get on etsy at all and had an amazing weekend! I spent some time creating designs for myself and had a blast!
My newest piece is this one titled "Good Karma". Its a 3 stranded beaded bracelet with a Buddha pendant. I love it!! The natural look of it is perfect for my style and I didn't take it off all weekend! I made a few more today and decided to list them in my shop!

Yesterday I was so blah and bored with everything that I needed to brighten up my day! Fab Find - Eco Friendly Zippy Pouches

These are soooo cute! I dont know about you but I use a little zippy pouch all the time, they are perfect for those smaller bags or when you just need a couple bucks and your ID for a show! BPA Free Water Bottles

If someone were to ask me what I would hate most to go a day without, it would be a tie between my water bottle (filled with ice cold water of course) and my Berts Bees chapstick! I literally carry my water bottle with me everywhere, so when all this talk about BPA Free bottles came about, I had to get one.
I bought myself a SIGG Lifestyle Bottle and a Nalgene "On the Go" bottle. SIGG had super cool designs and colors available, so it was hard to resist but I wasn't a big fan once I started using it. It has a screw top so it takes awhile to open, if youre just using it around the house that's no problem, but if your working out or on a hike that can be a big pain!
Im also pretty picky about my water staying cold, and the SIGG bottle didnt seem to keep its temperature for very long, Im guessing that has something to do with the fact that its made of aluminum. The most positive thing I found with the SIGG bottle was that its very durable!
As for my Nalgene "On the Go" bottle, I love it! Its tall and thin so it fits in my hand easily (I have to use 2 hands for their thicker bottles) and it also fits in the cup holder in my car which is a huge plus!
The top slides open so its easily accessible and very durable.

........so far. I have loved LOTS of the things Ive bought from Etsy, but this Radio tank I found at Sarstar77.etsy.com is by far one of my favorites! Im a huge fan of American Apparel (yes yes I know there is a lot of talk going on about the company but their tanks fit me best) and when I did a search and found this one I knew I had to get it! Its so cute and unique! It was shipped quickly and its just as perfect as it is in the picture! (Except I don't look quite as perfect as the model but hey, who does?)
I recommend this seller any day!

Putting a face to the designs!

Ive been making jewelry for about 15 years now but have always been too shy to put my face to my work! I always sold online and never let anyone know who I was. I have no idea why??
Finally this year I have learned to take pride in my work and put myself out there! The hardest thing was telling my boyfriend! He likes to make fun of me (playfully of course) for everything so I thought I would never hear the end of it! We live together so he was wondering why I was spending hours a day in my "Office"/ crafts room so I finally had to give in and show him my work! Much to my surprise he was very encouraging and PROUD! After telling him I was happy to tell anyone who asked, my parents were surprisingly proud as well.

It feels so much better to out in the open about my hobby/craft. Anyone out there who might be iffy about sharing their work with the world, think again!

Hello everyone! I cant believe that summer is almost over and Christmas is right around the corner! I decided to come up with a new style of necklace called the "Boyfriend". It was inspired by my 13 year old little brother who wanted me to make him a "Surfer" style necklace for his trip to the beach this summer! Its nicely priced at $10 so it can be a perfect gift for your son, nephew, or boyfriend! I plan to come up with many more necklaces like this before Christmas comes around!

Its been awhile

Hey! Its been forever since Ive started a new post! Things have picked back up in my shop and Im beyond excited about it! I have a new style which I originally made just for myself but loved it so much I had to make some to share with everyone else! They are wooden necklaces with BEAUTIFUL handblown glass pendants! None of them are the same since they were all made by this very talented glass artist, but they are all equally gorgeous! I have sold 2 of them and am down to my last 2! Im going to start working on them today so I can get them listed ASAP!
Other then that its festival season!! Thats always something to smile about! :)

Update: Back in Action :)

Well my hand has healed up pretty well other then the unsightly scar that runs along the bottom on my middle finger! I did have nerve damage so the majority of my middle finger is numb but Im slowly getting used to it, and of course hopeing the feeling comes back over time! We will see!
I have been very busy making new pieces and filling custom orders! While I was down I spent lots of time shopping for cool new supplies and pendants so Im really excited to use them all!! I bought a bunch of glass pendants (yep Im a glass addict) so expect to see a bunch of cool new glass coming your way in the next month or so!! Above is my favorite new piece so far! Out of Order All Week :(

Well due to a stupid mistake last Friday night Im out of order all week! I had to get stitches on my right hand (yep Im right handed) and I have a huge gash on the side of my finger! So Ive had my hand wrapped up all week so I cant make any new jewelry, or address any of my packages! My boyfriend has been doing it for me so that helps alot!
Its just such a frustrating feeling! And of course the shops been slow the whole week before but it picked back up as soon as this week rolled around! haha no complaints on that part! I just wish I could be a little more help with all the custom orders that have been put on hold!

FREE hemp in March

Yep you read it right, Ill be giving away free phatty hemp anklets with every order all during March! After reading a thread in the forums a few days ago I decided to make it where the buyer has the option on the free gift, in other words they have to actually put it in their cart. I guess its working just as good. Im just a little worried someone wont read carefully and just expect the anklet! Hmmm I guess only time will tell! Until then, check em out! If youve been eyeing something in the shop, nows the time to pick it up!!

Hello!

Well I figured I would give this blogging thing a try! Ive heard so much about it in the ETSY forums I figured why not? :) I love to create, I mostly use hemp but suprisingly rarely wear it anymore so Ive ventured into beading and other types of jewelry! My favorite new piece is a gorgeous stone put onto a sterling silver necklace and topped off with one of those little sterling silver Sparrow charms everyone is using right now!
